Michelle Burkett, MA, LPC-S, NCC
Michelle Burkett relocated to San Antonio in 2002 to work with children and families who have experienced trauma. Michelle has been dedicated to children and crisis intervention in diverse populations since that time. Throughout her time in San Antonio, Michelle has worked with couples, families and children as well as the military population in an array of settings from in-patient to in-home counseling. Ms. Burkett has a M.A. in Counseling and B.A. from the University of California in both, Criminology Law & Society and Psychology of Social Behavior. Always the advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, Michelle also spent some time working in the Juvenile court system, community advocacy centers and residential treatment centers.
Michelle is also a licensed counselor supervisor, using her more than sixteen years experience to assist beginning therapists. Ms. Burkett continues to be committed to guiding individuals through life’s complex circumstances.
